Un rover du SnT : finaliste du concours ESA/ESRIC pour aller sur la Lune

SpaceR, un groupe de recherche en robotique spatiale du Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) de l'Université du Luxembourg, a été sélectionné le 29 mars pour la finale du Space Resources Challenge de l'ESA/ESRIC. L'objectif principal de ce défi est de caractériser et de localiser des ressources comme l'eau et les métaux à l'aide de mesures in situ et de produire une carte précise d’un petit cratère d'impact situé à quelques centaines de mètres de l'atterrisseur. La salle de contrôle de la mission analyse les images (bandes visuelles et multispectrales) pour établir une première carte des ressources afin de préparer des missions futures.
